This past year, I’ve worked with my dad to help him write his life story. I conducted an interview with him at Christmas 2019 and then met weekly via the computer to add to the story. It was a fun opportunity to learn more about his life. He enjoyed reliving many good memories.
We sought out photos to go along with the stories. Several family members helped us locate long forgotten photos. It ended up a 100-page book filled with many great snapshots of a life well lived. The best part of the process was being able to watch as he shared the finished project with his siblings, kids and grand kids. If you’ve thought about writing your life story, why wait?
