Lead researcher, Sue Schlichting is a native Nebraskan who has over 20 years of research experience. She has expertise in Midwestern research with an emphasis in Homestead records, Quaker, Swedish and German records.

Sue enjoys sharing her passion for family history with young people through interactive experiences and tours. The “Family History Detective Roadtrip” is a popular workshop shared with teens across Kansas over the past 10+ years.

She developed the Sch-Nel Family Newsletter in 2004 and has continued to serve as its editor.

Sue is a genealogist, public speaker, teacher and mentor.
